Popular Anthropology Magazine welcomes the submission of music CDs for review. Please see the following guidelines below before sending us your material:
- All music must be sent in CD format.
- All music CDs must be sent in a CD jewel case. Each case must provide the following information:
- Title of the CD
- Artist name(s)
- Label
- Release date
- Track titles
- The price of the CD and the name and address (including URL) of at least one store should be provided to inform our subscribers where they can purchase the CD.
- The genre and the official artist website should be provided.
- Demos, MP3, WAV, and other formats will not be accepted. Our reviewer must be able to listen to the CD in its entirety in order to review it.
- Popular Anthropology Magazine cannot guarantee that your CD will be reviewed. However, if your CD has been selected for review, we may ask that you provide an audio clip or music video to embed within the review. In addition, we may request a high-quality .jpg of the artist and/or CD cover. Popular Anthropology Magazine publishes each issue as a Flash flip book, allowing us to incorporate audio and video in addition to articles.
- Submissions will not be returned, and will become the property of Popular Anthropology Magazine.
